What is the difference between down vs. synthetic vs. Impla™?
	Fowl Down Down is harvested from geese through a practice called “live-plucking.” That is when the feathers of a goose, and the undercoating of geese and ducks, are pulled off their skin while they are still alive. This is an incredibly painful process for the animals and leaves them stunned and terrified, with broken wings and legs. This practice often happens overseas, where regulations against such mistreatment aren’t as stringent as in the US.		Synthetic Down Synthetic down alternative, while more humane, is a poor choice for the environment. During the synthetic down manufacturing process, materials have a negative environmental impact due to most synthetics being petroleum based. This increases the world’s overall carbon footprint.
